Women and Gender Studies (WGST)

Critical analysis of feminist and gender theories and the methods scholars use to make their arguments. Focus on key issues such as the public/private divide, the sex/gender debate, feminist political economy, queer theory, and multicultural and global perspectives.

Capstone course enabling students to collect, reflect on, synthesize, and self-assess their work from different courses and to expand their knowledge of WGST through empirical research. Prerequisite: 6 hours of approved WGST courses.
