A fundamental approach to the study of physical and chemical phonomena. Biophysical-chemistry focus on thermodynamics, including several laws of thermodynamics. Examples illustrate how these principles are applied to fundamental problems in biology and biochemistry. Prerequisites: One semester each of physics and calculus; CHEM 1312 recommended.
