Public Health, B.S.
The Bachelor of Science in Public Health at Texas A&M University-Kingsville is designed to prepare well rounded, work ready public health professionals who are immediately employable across governmental, nonprofit, healthcare, and private sector settings in South Texas and statewide. Aligned with the university's mission to serve South Texas through education, research, and service, the four-year, 120 semester credit hour curriculum balances foundational public health knowledge with applied skill development. The curriculum integrates foundational public health science with applied competencies in epidemiology, data analysis, health equity, policy, communication, and systems-based practice, reflecting the profile most frequently requested by Texas and National employers.
