Psychology, Minor
Psychology is an integral part of our lives, whether it is work, school, or our personal lives. Therefore, a minor in psychology provides an excellent way for non-psychology majors to explore the discipline of psychology and develop a foundational understanding of psychological phenomena and basic mental processes necessary to both understand human behavior and enhance marketable skills. The minor in psychology required 18 credit hours of psychology inclusive of PSYC 2301 Introd to Psychology (3 credits) and another five 3-credit elective courses. Six of the 18 credits must be taken at the advanced level. Students may choose any combination of psychology courses that they wish to take in order to support their majors and/or interests.
The complete listing of psychology courses with brief descriptions can be found in the TAMUK Undergraduate Course Catalog.
