Microcredentials and Digital Badges
The Office of Workforce Development offers self-paced and instructor-led courses that allow students to gain additional skills while completing their degree. Through a robust portfolio of online microcredential programs, students can earn digital badges that verify mastery of targeted competencies in areas such as leadership, project management, communication, and technical disciplines. These credentials are stackable, align with academic coursework, and appear on students’ professional profiles to demonstrate verified skills to employers.
Professional Development and Industry Certification
Students can expand their skill sets and prepare for career advancement through short-term, noncredit training and professional development opportunities. Programs are designed to align with degree pathways and industry standards, offering workforce credentials in high-demand sectors including construction, energy, and industrial technology. These programs help students apply academic learning in practical settings and strengthen their readiness for internships and employment.
